I am a 38 yr old woman who suffers from chronic headaches. In the past I usually have a headache for a month and it will go away for 3 or 4 months and come back. Recently I have had a headache for 5 months with a two week break in between. I have been to my pain management guy he wants to do a occipital nerve block. I am on Hydracodone 10, Soma 350 and OxyIR (PRN). I also went to the Neurologist this am and he wanted me to go on Anti Depressants and Zanaflex. My questions is when do you say enough is enough. I am sick of the medication and I went to the Neuro guy just to make sure that I didn't something major wrong. I was told I have tension headaches. I am un sure what to do or where to go from this point. I do not want to take any more medication. The way the Neuro guy explained the medication regiment was that It is long term. YEARS.![]()
