I am on Hydracodone 10, Soma 350 and OxyIR (PRN). I also went to the Neurologist this am and he wanted me to go on Anti Depressants and Zanaflex. My questions is when do you say enough is enough. I am sick of the medication and I went to the Neuro guy just to make sure that I didn't something major wrong. I was told I have tension headaches. I am un sure what to do or where to go from this point. I do not want to take any more medication. The way the Neuro guy explained the medication regiment was that It is long term. YEARS. | I was in the same situation and had blocks done to my neck also. After the blocks i had terrible headaches that would last 5 months straight also. Nothing would work and i almost killed myself accidently one day by taking nyquil tablets before work. I hit a guardrail as i was falling asleep on the way to work. Luckily there was barriers or i would of hit someone head on. I was so upset i could not control my headaches and was getting desperate that i called my pain specialist and he offered me botox. My insurance company paid for it, as i had a spasm on the back of my neck that was causing tension headaches. As soon as i had the botox shot i was 100% cured!!! Check into your insurance co. and have a neurologist/pain specialist give you the shot. I will bet you will feel 100% better, and to this day which is about 9 months later i have had nomore headaches like the ones i experienced after that. Good luck |
