Default Looking for opinions on weed...

I made a post a few days ago about weather I should have drank during my WD so I could sleep and I got some good advice and It made me re-think the idea and I ending up just taking very small pieces of percocet (not saying thats the answer, but It helped me get by the day knowing I would have a 5 mg at night) I was at 150 mgs a day at one point, so I didn't beat self up over It.

Anyways... WD is over, I'm still have physical pains but thats because I'm overweight and I'm wondering if I have arthritis. IDK The depression is tougher now though after the first 6 days and I'm debating on smoking some weed when I feel really In the gutter.

I only smoked a few times in my life and don't remember how I even felt. Kinda like when people take percocets for tooth aches or something and they don't know its giving them a high and they never notice. I guess I was like that when smoking with buddies in high school, prob didn't even inhale enough and didn't know what to look for from the high like I was so familiar with the pills. I knew that once I took It...15 mins Id be feeling great.

So what do some of you get out of weed? Make you tired? make you focus? feel good mentally I'm sure

    Its non addicting correct??

Any input would be appreciated, and I apologize if my grammar is bad or I'm not making sense. My brain is very foggy right now

weed is a pretty good temporary fix. I don't really enjoy being high, but it helps tremendous amounts with certain pains. It is non addicting, with the exception of loss of appetite, but if you're not a habitual smoker then you'll have to pretty much keep it to only using at home.

Also, know what kind of weed you're smoking and baby step it. for example if its california grade a medical kush, take just 1 hit and wait a few minutes. I'm 6'3 225 pounds and 2 hits keeps me stoned for hours.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for advice.... I'm 6'3 295 and plan on just taking a couple hits to test out the waters and to get picked up a little, not looking to get all goofy. I def have to be careful, I live in an apt and have a state trooper next door lol

I hope I wake up feeling better than I did today mentally. I'm very dull right now, not sad like i was this morning but I'm not happy.

I think tomorrow being Aug 1st, I will try and start a diet, if I lose weight I know a lot of my pain will go away and I wont be as depressed. But if I still feel this way Sept 1st, I will have to be put on an anti depressant even though I dont want that.

If I were you, I wouldn't do it. You are now clean and over the withdrawals. Why are you now gonna go and throw all of your hard work away? Think about it. You have come too far to do something like this. I do think weed can be habit forming. YOu are an addict, you should abstain from any mind altering substances. And weed makes you chill, not have energy. So good luck smoking a few hits and trying to go workout. And it will probably make you gain weight, because you will get the munchies. Good luck!!

If you had used pot your whole life and needed it to help kick narcotics I wouldn't think it would be that bad, though I'm not advocating it. But you said you don't even remember what it was like.

You've already beat this more or less. Don't do something foolish like starting to smoke pot now. That makes NO sense whatsoever.

Get a dog to occupy your time and leave the pot alone. That's my experience and I smoked from 1967 until 2002. You don't need it, and it won't serve any positive purpose for you. Hang in there. God bless.
