Lexapro Withdrawl sypmtoms I was prescribed 20, then 10 mg of this awful drug for anxiety related to my divorce. This stuff makes me feel like a sloth. For the two months that I've been taking it, I haven't done anything but get up, go to work, come home, and crash. I cut back to 5mg a week ago, and now I really feel like I'm going through withdrawls. Cold hands and feet, total exhaustion, dizziness, vertigo, and cold-like symptoms. Is there anything I can do to help? I don't want to take anything anymore, I'd rather just deal with the anxiety![?] -
Confused~
There is a special topic just for Lexapro. You might want to start reading there, even post there. I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful info. -
what you are going thru is definitely withdrawal . the drug companies tell us that this awful stuff is not addictive but it is . very ! your body is crying out for more of this awful drug . was on it myself but only for a month . had to stop it very adruptly because it was worsened my depression and making very suicidal as well . i was only 10mg , a very low dose they say . the withdrawals from coming off this drug is pure hell , whether it's very slow or cold turkey . there so many things that can help thru this though ! multivitamins , omega 3 , diphenhydramine ( benedryl ) , drinking loads of water to flush it out of your system , acupunture , eating loads of fruit and vegetables , walking , having thistle mlik to detox the liver , vitamin B complex , magnesiun for the insomnia and anxiety . i just gave some . hope all of this helps you . good luck .
