Default lexapro withdrawal

Hi Everone,
I have been reading a lot of your posts and they have been very helpful.
However, I am on day 24 being Lexapro free and am not doing as well as I would like.
The first two weeks were really bad with brain zaps, dizziness, nausea, nightmares, tired all of the time, anxiety etc.
This morning I woke up in a panic attack with brain zaps and nausea. Is this normal? I'm beginning to think it will never go away. I'm starting to get scared and soooo tired of this.
I will never figure out why Drs give these SSRIs to people. I guess they help some but certainly not me. I never felt better and actually felt worse while taking it. I only took 10mg for 2 months.
I do take Xanax and Klonopin thank heavens or I don't know where I'd be.
Has anyone had these effects last this long? I sure need some reassurance.
Thanks so much
