Default Lexapro and sweating

I started taking lexapro about 3 weeks ago. After some initial side effects that have subsided I noticed I've been sweating a lot at night. Has anyone had this happen to them? Does it subside?

yes! I took Lexapro for about five months, and quit cold turkey because I kept waking up drenched in sweat! However, it's been more than three months since I stopped, and while it's decreased, i still sweat profusely at night compared to before taking Lexapro.

I also took lex for quite some months. I gained about 25 pounds. The night sweats were gross. I sweat so much the sheets would be wet. You'd think with all that sweating that I would have lost weight--not gained it!!!!!! I still sweat after coming off of it too. It wasn't pretty !!!

I am so glad I came across this thread! I am a female and I have been taking Lexapro for a month. after taking it for only a week, i started to have night sweats. I wake up every night soaked, especially around my neck and chest! I wonder how long this will last? I don't know whats worse the depression and anxiety attacks or the horrible sweats at night. Any info or personal experiences with this would be helpful!
