Default Lexapro

I am amazed at all the threads on Lexapro. Thank goodness for this forum. My husband's back dr. just gave him a prescription for Lexapro a few months ago and I will quote here, the dr said, "I think it should be in the drinking water, it's great!". My husband never got the prescription filled and I am thankful. Gee whiz, don't any doctors do any research before they hand out scripts? I know it works for a lot of people, but what about when you have to quit taking it? Brain zaps??? That sounds terrible!

Default I agree...

My Dr. gave me some Lexapro samples and had me break them in halves and take one a day. I was taking them for 3 and a half weeks when I started reading all sorts of things on Drugs.com about Lexapro so I stopped taking them. Tuesday was my last day, Wednesday I had a headache and nauseas all day long. When I woke up today, I did not have the headache but I am a bit nauseas. So, I don't know if I was taking the Lexapro long enough for them to cause any withdrawals, like the headache and nausea. What do you think? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Audra.
