Will I have any withdrawals going from 20-40mg of morphine sulphate to 6 5/500 hydrocodones a day? I had to switch b/c I got majorly constipated from the Kadian.
hi sarah,that sounds abt right.you should do ok,use a stool softerner daily anyways ,the hydro constipate you too. if you feel like your going in w/ds. than maybe add an extra 5mg.I think it might help.keep posting and also try the pain killer addiction board lots of good people to talk with,take care Tamm
hydro is .6 times as strong as morphine, so you averaged say 30mg of MS compared to going to 30mg of hydro, doing the math that makes the hydro equal to 18mg of MS, so you should experience a titration drop.
