information on suboxen please Hello. I am glad I ran into this place. I am currently taking 10 mg percocet. I have been for two years now. I am up to 15 a day. three or four at a time. I am miserable. I guess I hate reality. I was doing a lot of Coke a while back. After I stopped that, I started taking a lot of pills. I guess I do not want to deal with what I have done to my family and six year old daughter. I heard about suboxen and got brave enough to tell my dr. I have an appointment on Tuesday to start taking it. I am scared that I won't like it because I won't get high off of it and erase reality. All I want is to have that natural high I had before I started doing coke and pills. Any information on Suboxen would be apprecited. Thank you so much. -
You need to look at what's more important, getting high or your's and your daughters life.Start on the buprenorphene and get some councilling, the party is over....Dave -
I totally agree. Believe me, it has not been a party, it has been a living hell that I am putting myself through. It's like I am punishing myself for my actions in the past. I am ready to deal with them and I know that councilling and Suboxen will help me through this. From what I hear Suboxen helps you think clearer and focus on the problem. I am really excited about getting help!! -
Treasures,
Hi i'm glad that you know that you have a problem and suboxone does help so much i'm on it and have been for a few months I was on ops for about 8 yrs and it helped me quit within 1 hr no pain no w/d it works good luck. -
Suboxone would be grat for you to try.Good luck and keep us up to date if you can.....Dave -
Thanks for the words of hope. Today has been an emotional day. I know that tomorrow at five I see the Dr. and will start facing everything. I know the suboxen is just part of it, The counsiling is what is going to keep me clean in the long run! I will keep you updated. One more question. Does suboxen help with pain? I have neuropahy and am in pain at times in the day. I'm wondering if the Dr will want to try methodone. I am reading these post and it seems that some Doctors are putting people on this. Why would a Dr. choose methodone over Suboxen? -
Yes,I have read in a few different articles that buprenorphene is 50 times stronger then morphine.Good luck tomorrow,I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well buprenorphene will work and how good you will feel once they get you at a stable dose.It should only take a couple days at the most to find the right dose so hang in there.....Dave -
Just want to give you a quick update. I took my first dose of suboxone this morning, and wow what a difference. I feel normal for the first time in three years. after about 10 minutes, I could feel my pain going away and changes throughout my body. No more cravings (thank God) And I did not feel sick anymore. Thank you everyone for all the information I have read and recieved from you guys.
