okay everyone i am new here and i need help. I was in the army for 4 years while in the army i was 11bravo Infantry i broke my back in 2 spots. I have been taking vicodin 10\650 for about a year i just went down to 5/500 about 6 months ago i only take about 2 a day when i took the 10/650 i was taking 10 to 15 a day. Now my question is I want to stop alltogether but the pain in my back is so horrible. I hate beind dependent on vicodin. Any feedback would be welcome

You need to make sure that you can live with the pain in your back.You have legitamite chronic pain that can be controlled with vicodin,what's wrong with that????Why would you live your life in pain when your quality of life would be so much better taking 2 vicodin a day.Is someone on you about quitting because this doesn't make sense.You have every right to take these pain killers and as you say your not abusing them so why would you put yourself thru hell.Give it some good thought,you've given enough already.....Dave

I'm addicted to Vicodin 10's too.


I'm on 4 per day. I have my mother or sister hold them because if i get ahold of them, I'll take 10-15 per day. I also abused Adderall like that before. And i abused them both at the same time.

Now, when i added Vodka to the mix, That was when my mom jumped in and threatened to tell me doctor if i didn't quit drinking. Thank god she cared enough for me to do that, or the Vodka would've killed me by now, mixing it with all those pills.


But look man, If you want to quit, You can. If you don't want to quit, There is not use trying too.

Addiction is a sickness, But it's the only sickness that only you can control and tell to go away, When you want too.

You can go too all of the best rehab centers in the world. But if you don't want to quit, You're never going to quit until you're willing.
