basically about 20 months ago out of the blue i got this pain in my groin; so i go to the clinic they say i have a bact infection give me some meds they dont work go to a urologist they misdiagnose me with prostatytis so basically for 6 months i am misdiagnosed; anyways after 6 months; i go to family doctor; they do xrays and mris; all negative; i start being prescribed 7.5 hydrocodones but i am only taking 1 or 2 a day and i feel normal; anyways; during this time; i go to a neurologist they cant figure it out; i start seeing another urogologist best in the state; for the last year i have been misdiagosed going thru all blood test; 2 exploratory surgeries; cyscostopy; mri; cat scans everything; everything NEGATIVE; my idiot doctor said i had interstitial cystitis; IDIOTTTTT; i had no signs of that; it doesnt hurt when i go to the restroom; no problems with sex; anyways over the lst year i get bumped up to 10mg/500 mg and i am also taking 50 mg tramdols; now i am taking 8-9 lortabs and 4 tramadols a day; now i find a doctor that in 1 visit says that i have some muscle that needs stregthening; the problem is i am stil on this pain medicine and if i go off it which is what i did 2 weeks ago i had this HUGE pain in my groin and my back hurt and i was miserable; now its not like i this zoned one person; when i take the pain medicine i basically feel normal; but i know i need to get off it the problem is if i get off it and the problem is not fixed than i am in for big trouble; i am looking for any advice i can get on what i should do; i have been misdiagosed by 10 different doctors and am at the end of my rope; i need some advice and am willing to do whatever it takes; thanks in advance

If your going to need pain meds for more than a couple of months then you should be on a sustained release pain killer.Loratabs are ******** for chronic pain, can you get into a pain clinic. They will likely put you on a sustained release opiate that way you only need to take 3 a day......Dave
