Default How long will suboxone be in my system?

So, yesterday (12/29) around 2 pm I took an 8 mg. suboxone. A few days before I'd been taking methadone and I guess it was out of my system before I took the suboxone because I felt nothing along the line of withdrawals and had no idea that the two together had such dramatic effects. And I know it's stupid taking pills when you're not sure what they are but the person who gave it to me is a Dr. so I've been very surprised to be reading all of this information on withdrawals and such from taking suboxone too soon after opiates. I was never told that it was an opiate blocker until AFTER I took it.

Anyways, to the question:

How long after taking suboxone (in this case one 8mg) will I be able to drink or take other opiates? Afterall, tomorrow is New Years Eve

I think the half life is 36 hours, if that helps. But why do you want to get back opiates and drink?
