HI EVERYONE I NEED SOME SOME ADVICE, I STARTED SUBOXNE YESTERDAY I HAD A 7 YEAR ADDICTION TO VICODIN ES I WAS UP TO ABOUT 15 A DAY 3 AND A HALF AT A TIME, YESTERDAY AM AT 5AM I TOOK MY LAST 3 AND HALF AND WENT TO DOC AT 930AM, HE WROTE ME A SCRIPT AND TOLD ME TO TAKE 2 SUBOXNE WHEN I START FEELING LIKE TAKING MORE VICS, WELL I DID AND I FELT GREAT! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD IS THAT I DIDN'T SLEEP AT ALL LAST NIGHT WHY IS THAT? DOES THE SUBOXNE MAKE YOU LIKETHIS? THIS AM AT 530AM I TOOK MY SUBOXNE BUT 30 MINS LATER I WAS SICK TO MY STOMACH , SO ABOUT A HOUR LATER I TOOK ONE MORE THINKING THE 2 I TOOK IN AM WERE GONE FROM BEING SICK, AT 1130 WAS SICK TO STOMACH AGAIN, AND VERY TIRED AND DIZZY. TRYED TO CALL DOC AND THEY LEFT FOR DAY, I WANTED TO SEE IF MY AMBIEN WAS SAFE TO TAKE AT NIGHT WITH IT. I HOPE I WILL SLEEP TONIGHT. I ONLY TOOK ALTOGETHER 10 MGS OF SUB YESTERDAY AND 12 TODAY. IM ALSO ON XANAX DOC SCRIPT FOR ANIXITY AND LEXAPRO FOR DEPRESSION, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAD THE SIDEFFECTS I HAD? THANKS CRYSTAL[8D]P.S I ALSO LOOK VERY STONED FROM THE SUBOXNE MY PUPILS ARE VERYYY PINPOINTED IS THAT NORMAL?[?]

Sky~ I have heard from others that in the beginning the suboxone makes them "high". I personally never took it but know alot of other people that have. If you want experienced people that have taken and are currently taking it check out this site.

I dont think sub gets you high i think its the feeling of being off the others as for the sickness i did get sick the first day i was on sub but that was it. I read in my booklet that you shoudent be on an antidepresent with the sub it could be very bad. Hope you feel better

Buprenorphene(subutex,suboxone) is 200 times stronger than Morphine.It also has a cieling effect which is 32mgs I believe.So what that means is that after 32mgs your just wasting it.10-12 mgs is alot of suboxone and that's likely why you got sick.Try taking 4-6 mgs.Everyone that is on buprenorphene say's that less is more.Once you get stable you'll be amazed at how well you feel and how well you can get through your day.You looked stoned because you were stoned.Buprenorphene is like methadone in that you don't get that euphoric rush like you do from morphine.Stick with and work with the doctor and you will be fine.......Dave

I think Clueless is right. If you are throwing up, you are probably taking too much. From what I have seen, people feel great after the first dose, take the second too soon and then get sick. Sub has a long half life whatever that means... I haven't started the sub yet but my doc prescribed ambien with the sub and I know other people on the board that take them together so that should be ok. ...good luck!

THANKS U GUYS, YES I AM MUCH BETTER. I AM TAKING 1 TAB 4-5 TIMES A DAY INSTEAD OF 2 AT A TIME, I ALSO HAVE BEEN TAKING MY XANAX AND LEXAPRO WHICH DOC SAID IS COMPLETLY SAFE, I AM NOW ON MY 4TH DAY CLEAN WITHOUT VICS!!! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME FOR ME, I WILL KEEP U ALL POSTED, THANKS!! CRYSTAL
