    Default Help Please....

    Hello,
I am a Behavioral Specialist for a private boys school. My students have a range of disabilities, from behavioral problems-emotional problems and learning disabilities. I have a list of meds that most of my kids are currently taking, and I thought it would be a great idea to have a clue when they are NOT taking their medications. Is there a web site, or any place that I can find information NOT on side effects, rather attitdues/behaviors, emotions, we might expect when the kids are off their perscriptions?
    common RXs are
    Wellbutrin
    Abilify
    Seroquel
    Depakote
    Risperdal
    Adderall
    Concerta/Ritalin
    Straterra

Thank You for any help you can send my way...
    SM

What you need to do to find this information is look for what is called the "full" or "physician's" prescribing information. It is much more detailed than the common monographs you find in PDRs or which are provided by most pharmacies. These more detailed drug info sheets almost always list a section that tell you what can happen if a drug is discontinued.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~

Most CVS's have "the pill book". It's pretty comprehensive. It comes close to the PDR. The PDR can be expensive.

    Peace and all that,

    John
