Default Help with husband

Hi I posted in the need to talk but my hubby went to rehab he was there for 5 days and he said he was ready to come home....He always told me that if he could get over the "sick feeling" he would be fine...Now I could kick myself in the a** for going and getting him. They detoxed him with sub for 2 days then went to vistril and altram and 800mg of motrin. WELL now he is home and it's been a whole week with out vicoden(he was taking 15-20HP's a day)My problem is that he still is laying around he won't get out of bed and won't listen to anything I tell him.....What is the best way to help him? We are going to his family dr. today and he is hoping he will give him what he was taking in the rehab. Are any of these pills addictive? Should I just make him stop taking everything and let him ride it out? Are there any foods that will make him feel better? He says he has no energy....and feels weak is this normal? I thought he would come home and everything would be back to normal...lol...I guess I was wrong. If anyone could help me PLEASEEEEE!!!! We need it...I know checking into rehab was the BEST thing for him and I am SO proud of him. Thanks and sorry about the spelling!!!

He needs to be back on the suboxone.Stopping an opiate cold turkey after heavy abuse is usless as the brain doesn't produce any endorphins. This is why he's so depressed and still in bed.Get him back on suboxone for about 3 weeks then start to wean him down the proper way.I hope he learned a valuble leason that opiates change your body and brain chemically and physically and you just can't cold turkey and expect to be fine after 5 days......Dave
