Red face Fibromyalgia with Depression & Anxiety

Hi -
I'm a newbie- looking for some others to talk to dealing with these things, maybe we could exchange some suggestions, I'm miserable, and you know, misery loves company.
I have taken so many meds for the last 15 or so years, all the NSAIDS, OTCs, Hydrocodone, stronger Hydrocodone, Lexapro, Wellbutrin, now I'm on Cymbalta 60mg( 2 years now), Maxide (for the swelling from the Cymbalta), Ativan several a day, and have an emergency prescription of Hydrocodone for when I'm in a terrible episode. I go to the Chirpractor twice a month, and have recently started having trigger point massage. Very painful- but also very helpful. I try to exercise every day- jazzercise- and when I don't go- I hurt even worse.
I'm very effected by the Barometric pressure and the weather. I'd very much like to get off of Cymbalta- if I could find something else that would work for the pain and help more with the depression. I have had suicidal thoughts, and my depression didn't ever get to that point before.
I'd love to commiserate with anyone else who is being challenged by Fibromyalgia.
Thanks for letting me vent

Yes I also suffer with Fibromyalgia, along with some other issues as well, I was also on cymbalta and stopped taking it, I personally didn't like it. and when I read this quote.......I have had suicidal thoughts,.........You REALLY need to get to your docs asap, and tell he/she that ! Just what you wrote here, that cybalta is making you have these feelings and you need off of it, and on to some thing else. I went right back on prozac, so far so good.
Well any way I am here to listen if you want to vent Fibro is a nasty thing to have to deal with, I am in a flare up right now, well I am going to try to get some sleep now, good night, I shall chat with you later.?

I have fibro as well. I have had it for years and it can still be overwhelming. I try to keep in mind when the pain is very bad that it will eventually calm down and things will get better. I know that don't help much but we just have to keep plugging on, we have no choice.
