I keep having these electrical surges run through my entire body like someone is plugging me into an outlet then unplugging me. Can anyone tell me what might be causing these? I am currently taking lisinopril for high blood pressure and Topomax for migraines. I have been taking both medications for over a year, and these electrical surges have been happening way longer then a year, they just have been becoming more more unbearable. They do not hurt but it's very bothersome. They really happen when I am laying down or trying to relax on the couch or something. Please help because I'm at the point where I think I'm losing my mind.

They sound like myoclonic spasms or jerks.You really should talk to your doctor and see if this is a side effect of one or more of your medicines.Myoclonic spasms are common when taking opiates but you don't metion them so I would get checked asap.....Dave
