I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH SOME DEPRESSION WTIH GOOD REASON. DR PUT ME ON EFFEXOR. ARE THERE SEXUAL SIDE EFFECTS FOR ALL WHO TAKE THIS DRUG. I HAVE ONLY BEEN ON EFFEXOR FOR A WEEK.. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND HAVE TO THINK ABOUT STARTING MEDICATION FOR THAT TOO.. WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS. I AM IN A VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP AND I CAN SEE WHERE THIS CHANGE IN OUR LIVES IS GOING TO BE A TEST. I JUST WANT SOME FEEDBACK FROM OTHERS ON THIS DRUG.. ALSO ANYONE ON AVONEX, OR COPAXONE.. FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME YOUR TAKE ON THESE MEDS..

I have been on Effexor for about 2 weeks now. The only real side effect ive been having is excessive yawning, for some reason. And when I do, my legs seem to get weak for a second. Very odd. Other than that, no bad side effects so far. I feel no different, however, after two weeks.

I decided to go off Effexor because of all the horrible posts I read about the withdrawal sypmtoms. I do not ever want to go through that. I am going to try to work through this depression with exericise and herbal alternatives.. Any suggestions from anyone. I still to make a decision about the MS therapy too. From everything I read about the medications, I will definately get sick, but stopping the MS is the most important factor.
It is hard staying positive in a situation like this. I would appreciate talking to someone going through similiar medical problems..
