Default Duragesic Patch / Neurontin

I'm new to this website. I have been on the Duragisic Patch 25mg/h and Neurontin for 6 to 8 months. I had cervical surgery to fix the problem, but now I am having bad withdrawals. This is the third day? How long does it take to rid your body of the toxins? I've been reading prior comments, but nothing on the drugs I've listed. Is anyone familiar with these? My pain management doctor told me they were not addicting. Not so if I am having withdrawals. Hot one minute, cold the next. Stomach cramps, nausha, inability to sleep.

I've heard fentanyl described as a sort of a synthetic heroin. It is most definitely an addicting narcotic. Your pain mgmt doctor must be on drugs himself or he's a moron. Six months is way more than long enough to develop a physical dependency

I used Duragesic patches in the 50/hr variety for a few weeks last year. The best I can tell you is I remember little about the experience except they do work well against severe pain.

I was on the Fentanyl Patch for only a couple of months and I had to stop due to the severe headaches I was getting. The DR @ the Pain Management Clinic said the headaches were more than likely caused by the Patches. The withdrawal symptoms lasted a couple of days and OMG!!!! The pain came flowing back as a wave creeps up the shores. This is the first time I have ever experienced withdrawal symptoms from any prescription drug and that's a lot of different drugs!
