Default Don't know if this qualifies..

But I have nowhere else to post.
I'm 20 years old.
For the past 5 years I have been addicted to otc sleeping pills. They're the generic equate sleep aid liquid caps, maimum strength, 50 mg.
I've been taking 3 or 4 a night now for those 5 years, and am unable to sleep regularly without them. My probem isn't sleeping, it's my cycle. I don't feel tired without them until perhaps 3am, even if I got a decent nights sleep the night before. And then, even when I don't tak them, I sleep the day away.
I've done everything, tried setting my alarm, going completely withoutthe nights sleep so I could sleep the following night. Taken sleeping herbs, nothing helps. I don't want to go to the doctor, because then they'll only give me another pill. And I'll have a brand new addiction. What should I do? I know these can't be good for me.
