Default Depression and Anxiety

I have been on Zoloft and Cymbalta before for my depression. At the time I was also addicted to pain meds, so I am not to sure if either one worked for me. Ive been going through the emotional roller coaster after being off of Suboxone. I know there are some things to help, such as cardio, walking, or doing something that makes me feel happy. I am trying to decide if I should wait this out, or make an Appt. with the Dr. to get on an Antidepressant. One main thing that has bothered me most is my Nervousness that I am feeling, like I have had WAYYYYYY to much coffee. Any tips on what to do? Or what some of you may have done to get some relief? Thanks! Also what kind of antidepressants have worked for you? I don't WANT to rely on another Pill, but it's so easy to turn to one when you are in need of comfort.
