Depakote Cymbalta Seroquil

I have been taking these medications for over 6 months now oh yea Valium to. They say I have Bi-Polar and Anxiety which I know I have. I started taking these meds and after about a month I felt good but now I have gained 60 pounds and dont know what to do. I have no friends no will for sex and basically am a hermit. The more I explain this to my doctor the more drugs he gives me. I am a male 5'10'' and way 260 I used to way 200 before the meds. The seroquil is for sleep. The cymbalta and depakote which I take 2000 mil a day are for depression and valium for anxiety. It has wavered alot on my marrige with my wife its come to the point where shes thinking of leaving me and really I dont care Im like a zombie with the emotions can anyone relate. Please

Your most serious culprit here is the Depakote, it is very well know for doing those types of things. If I were you, I would talk to your doc about getting off of it, and trying something else, and if he just wants to add more meds, then find a different doc.

My husband had a similar problem when they had him on 4mgs of Risperdal a day, and it was awful. He finally refused to take it anymore, and they added Wellbutrin to his meds instead.

I started on Cymbalta 60mg. (switched from Effexor) a month ago and actually have lost weight. As soon as I started taking it I noticed the way I ate changed dramatically. And it's a good thing for me being about 20 lbs. overweight.
