Default Cocaine Addiction

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting off cocaine? There are several of my friends "yea right you say friends" but really is there anything that can help to get off without going into a facility?

If your able to get some valium or xanax ect that would help with the anxiety.Truthfully the best thing to do is stay the hell away from the coke crowd. You know what happens when your around it so take yourself out of that situation (trigger).Eat as well as you can and go for a walk in the morning and at night. It helps get those natural endorphins going.Remember that cocaine isn't physically addicting but it has a profound psychological effect as I'm sure your aware of.Good luck to you and let us know how your doing.Remeber to stay away from the coke crowd or your screwed....Dave

I am going with Dave, But their are a few drugs that might help, Naxalone, or now Provilgil, It has not yet been aproved for it but it on its way. But yes true stay away from the crowd , and get rid of ur contact. Yes Like a Bezno, titatrated to a low dose could help with the crazving, Axiety, but that is another trade for another in my point of view. Naxlone is non Narc, Provilgil is a c4. But always contact ur Dr First

Peace

Hi wimaguge, I have been addicted to cocaine for about 2 years, very heavily about the last year. Its weird that I crave it so much because it doesnt even make me feel good or have fun anymore...I'm going to try to take those walks as suggested...I've been up all night reading this site, found it for the first time last night, so I'm kinda tired. But, i know if i sit too long i might givin to my craving...anyhow, i was writing to see how you have been doing and if you have found that something helps..please let me know...good luck to you.

i have recently made the decision to quit cocaine as well (after about the same amount as time as mija), so i wish you luck, and please post here, if you find anything particular that is a good distraction. i've been thinking about places to go volunteer after work, or maybe pick up a second part time job to keep myself occupied. walking sounds like a good idea too, especially now that the weather is getting warmer.

good luck, take care
