My wife takes Norcos, Zanex, and Morphine. (all legal) She has for years. She also drinks. Lately in the last month or 2 her body is putting off a chemical smell......very clinical smelling. Smells almost like the inside of her pill bottle on a hot day. I am worried this could mean something. Anyone know FOR SURE...no guesses, I can have already guessed myself at the obvious.

Drugs are metabolized by the body, and yes, they can create an odor. Doesn't happen with everyone but it does happen.

I second that... certain drugs in certain people can give off a medicinal odor. Your body excretes everything you consume in one way or another. My wife noticed the same thing on me a few years ago when I was taking a lot of pills daily for pain from an injury. My wife noticed it clearly, especially when I sweated or was hot.
It wasnt constant, but came and when periodically while I was on the medication. It stopped when I stopped the drugs.
