Default Beginning Withdrawal 3/25 - last post

Melinda and Robert - Thanks for at least making a few comments to a couple of my post. Virtually NO ONE even responded to my threat "Beginning withdrawal 3/25....." asking for any advice and some support during withdrawal. I believe it is one of the very few on the whole page that no one even took the time to respond to. So, I will be on my way. It just confirms my notion that when push comes to shove most people don't give a s**t about anyone but themselves. I spend 25 plus years as an RN, helping people, many times beyond the spectrum of my actual job description and I thought maybe it was my turn to ask for a little in return. I'm hurt and as we know all to well, hurt soon turns to anger and I just couldn't keep it in this time.

Hi Mags,

I am an opioid-dependent individual now stabilized on suboxone. I didn't get a chance to reply to your post as a member, as i just joined today. I have my share of withdrawals, and experienced it all... first of all: What drug are you withdrawing from? are you tapering (or have you been..)? Are you doing this solo (i.e. not as an in/outpatient)? I am actually an aspiring RN or, hopefully NP, and I have ALWAYS had excellent treatment -- which rarely, if ever, you find in an MD, so I appreciate where you're coming from. I'd like to help anyway I can...
