i would definately talk to your mom first before you do anything, that way you can both approach your doctor together. above all else do not get started taking an opiate pain killer. the hell it will turn yours and your parents life into is not worth it. there are a lot of choices out there that are non addicting including physical therapy. please talk to your parents and don't experiment on your own with rx painkillers. they are very bad news, take it from someone who has been to hell and back with them. they do not fix the problem, they only cover it up and then pretty soon they don't even cover up the pain anymore, so one must take more and more which is how the addiction occurrs. the best way i have found now is to tackle the root of the problem and not the result. as in prevent the back problems through other means. good luck and write back |
