Question Army drug testing for Xanax and Suboxone

I'm wondering if anyone knows if Xanax and Suboxone will show up on a standard U.S. Army urine analysis. Here is some info on DOD drug testing if curious http://usmilitary.about.com/od/theor...ldrugtests.htm Thanks for your time.

Even though benzos are not listed on the link you provided, I would think they would be a sure thing to test for which of course would include Xanax. As far as Suboxone, have you taken it on a regular basis or a one time thing? They may or may not test for it.

Just one time with the Suboxone. In response to the Xanax, I spoke to a buddy of mine today with 3 deployments under his belt and a sever case of PTSD who is prescribed Xanax for anxiety. He told me that in 2 years of taking Xanax and countless UA's while on the drug, he never came up positive for benzos. I dont think benzos get tested for, but I do know for a fact opiates will show up, thats why I'm curious about the Suboxone. I don't have a prescription for Xanax, but take them to control panic attacks that I'm prone to.

If the Suboxone was one time it should be cleared from your body in 5 days give or take. Half life is 36 hours I believe. How about trying to get your doc to write you a script for the Xanax, that way it is legit.

To get a prescription for Xanax I would have to have a diagnosed anxiety disorder, which would end my chances of making Special Forces (I'm trying out next year). I'm not really worried about the Xanax anymore after talking to my buddy and a few other guys. Still curious if Suboxone will show as an opiate though.

I was told that Suboxone does not show up as an opioid on a drug test. It doesn't show up at all.
