ADD + Antidepressant

Hi, I'm looking for the name of a drug that is both for ADD and a mild antidepressant. I was talking with someone about it, but I can't remember the name. I think it may have started with an "L".

Hi trentp7,
I've been on quite a few different depression med.s over the years and nothing has worked for me. I had always wondered why.
Well, I was just diagnosed with ADHD a few weeks ago, which they are giving me Ritalin for. They also put me on Depakote for the BiPolar they diagnosed me with at the same time. I'm also taking Ativan for my anxiety. IDK if there are any drugs specifically for ADD and Depression together. BUT I do know that everyone is different and will react differently to each combonation of medication they are given and that a good Doctor will take the time to find out what will work best for you. I hope this helps a little.

Ive read that Wellbutrin is sometimes prescribed to people with ADHD due to the fact that its a stimulating anti-depressant, unlike all the others.
