Sorry but the worst is not over yet. This is really hard to do. Takes a lot of focus but it's worth the pain for the time it takes. Drink water and gatorade for the dehydration from stomach problems. Take immodium if you need it, take hot showers or baths for the restlessness. Don't try to force sleep if you are not sleepy. Just stay up, its easier than tossing and turning. When you can do it take a walk. It will help. Keep posting and know lots of others have done this. Doesn't make it better but you know it can be done. Good luck.

Default So Sorry!!

Oh I hate to tell you that right when it seems the worst is over, it comes again. With opiates, you can have post acute withdrawals for up to 18 months. How much were you using and for how long? I have been clean for 6 years and needed Methadone to help me. I had a habit of 50-55 of the 80 milligram Oxycontins a DAY. Yes, in one day. So it all depends on what your habit is. Please, if you need to talk, email me or call me. My email is jennmkillgore@gmail.com and if you need to talk, email me and I will give you my number. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Jenn
