Default Yasmin and hyponatremia

This is kind of a weird question...I recently started taking Yasmin (birth control) and due to a different kind of hormone in it they say it reduces sodium in your body, and leads to an increase in potassium. I am a runner and getting ready for a half-marathon on Sunday. I have been reading about the dangers of hyponatremia in training (drinking too much water, decreasing sodium in your body and leading to seizures). Could taking Yasmin, on top of hydrating a lot for this race, possibly be leading to dangerously low sodium in my body? I have noticed feeling rather lightheaded since beginning this pill (its been 2 weeks) and hope this isn't the reason...but then again, maybe that is just hypoCHONDRIA!
