Default Xalatan

This is a long shot but I had a question regarding the use of Xalatan in an 11 month old. She has congenital glaucoma and when I recommended trying Xalatan to her glaucoma specialist he said it would not work. She has open angle glaucoma. Can anyone direct me to some resources on this drug? It is supposed to work by making the anterior fluid drain out but her drainage system (trabecular meshwork) is tight. She has already had a goniotomy which failed. If anyone can help please let me know. Thank you
Carolyn
