Default withdrawals

A friend of mine was once heavy into pain killers and cold medicines. He has quit now but the other day he was going through some bad withdrawals. It was the first time I had seen him that bad and I wanted to help but I did not know what I could do. Is there even anything that I can do?

Im sure you guys figured it out by now but heres what you can do. To feel better the only thing is going to be to take the pain killer his body is used to but dont do that. If he just dabbles in these medications just let him stay in bed for a week and give him soup and liquids and a bucket to throw up in. If hes a serious addict, which I mean has been taking these medicines for a while and snorts them, injects them etc. He should contact a physician, hope that helps
