What would happen if you took expired adderall ?

I have some adderall xr but it expired..will it hurt to take it anyhow?

I don't know all the things taking expired meds could do, but one is loose it's affectiveness. As I understand it, when drugs are in the research/trial stage, the expiration date is determined by how long they drug was tested to work.

The best thing to do is just call you Pharmacist, they would be able to tell you.
