Trazadone is a anti-depressant/sleeping pill, more often used as a sleeping pill that comes in 50 and 100 mg tablets. Trazadone is used for a variety of disorders including depression, panic disorder, migraines, etc. It's actually also a psychoactive and it's scientific name is desryl (spelling).
it should also be mentioned that it is prob the anti-depressant with the highest risk of priapism (prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours) that usually requires surgery and often leaves the person permanently impotent.
My neurologist nearly ripped my psychologist a new A-hole for suggesting he give me trazodone as a sleep aid. Said the risk is way too high, and he would never even consider prescribing this to a person as young as me... I'm 35 btw.
