I started taking Synthroid late Dec. Since then, I have broken out in hives, swelling of eyes, and difficulty breathing at least 4 times, 2 severe enough to be sent to ER. My allergist can't find the reason as to why. Now I'm wondering if taking Synthroid can cause this. I would love to hear from anyone who has had similar situations or who can shed some light on these allergic reactions.

It may be worth having a look at the inactive ingredients in Synthroid (such as dyes, fillers etc.)
