My question is regarding my mom's glaucoma. She has advanced glaucoma and was told she MUST use Alphagan or her glaucoma will increase and cause blindness. However, the ALPHAGAN severely bothers her eye--continual redness & burning... We suspect that she may simply be allergic to the PRESERVATIVE in Alphagan--is there another drug which does the same thing, but with a different preservative?
