Default Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Wellbutrin XL

I am currently taking Lexapro, but I am concered about the side effects it makes me so sleepy and also the weight gain. I found that wellbutrin isn't suppose to have the effects of weight gain. I am just wondering now if wellbutrin has really bad side effects w/ other meds like methadone and vicadin? Does anyone have any idea on this? Also does it make you sleepy? Thank you.

Wellbutrin makes me jittery and gives me a tendency to have panic attacks when I take it without taking my anti-anxiety medication. Although, when I take it the way I am prescribed to, with Xanax and Lithium, I do not experience any additional anxiety. I lost a considerable amount of weight when I began taking Wellbutrin, which my doctor tells me is a pretty typical experience for those who take it. It definately decreases my appetite and tends to give me energy that I wouldn't normally have if I wasn't taking it. Another side effect is that I cannot sleep well while taking Wellbutrin. I fall asleep about the same as I did before, but I wake up very early in the morning (around 4 or 5 a.m.) and then I can't go back to sleep. Maybe some people would like this, but not me, I'm a college student and I want to sleep in whenever I can! It is also useful if you are trying to quit smoking because it makes cigarettes taste like asphalt, yuck. I have no idea why this happens, but it will help you quit smoking, if desired, because the taste is horrible. I don't know if you're a smoker or not, but I figured I'd add that for kicks.
