Wellbutrin.. one of those pills? Is Wellbutrin one of those medications that starts working RIGHT away, after you take it? After I take it, I feel really speedy, like I can do backflips if I wanted to... is this normal? -
Well, that's how I had started feeling taking Paxil of all things. I wore of after quite a while. Everything would have been okay, but I went through a huge stressor, so I was also Rx'd Wellbutrin. Wanted to die! All med's, or most med's have the opportunity for a paradoxical effect, especially so-called 'anti-depressants'. Not being an expert, I'd say that's great you have energy to do back flips and whatnot. If you think its making you too jittery though, you may want to ask for a lower dose [if possible]. -
Be careful with wellbutrin, I was prescribed it a few years ago and my life partner told me that after just a week of taking it, I had turned into a uni-brow and my demeanor had changed and I wasn't the same person.
Every night I had nightmares of killing others or myself, and the daytime wasn't all puppy dogs and roses either. I called the doctor who told me to stop taking the medication imediately and come in and he would prescribe something else. I did, and within a day or two those terrible nightmares went away and my partner told me that I returned to normal.
So trust someone you can trust if they tell you that you've changed "somehow", and consult your doctor if you have terrible nightmares and just don't feel right from taking them. Tags for this Thread
