Default Vancomycin, Nexium side effects

Anybody know if vancomycin or nexium could affect the brain in the elderly. For example, finding the right words when trying to express something. These are 2 new drugs my grandfather is on. He's also on Vicodin, and I'm worried. Any info would be appreciated.

I found no mental side effects related to Nexium or Vancomycin. However, I found some side effects of the Vicoden which could explain his change in mental status. These side effects include mental clouding, impaired mental and physical preformance, mood changes, and lethargy.
