Default Valuim and Anxiety

Has anyone out there been on valium for a long period of time for anxiety? I've tried a few and it really takes the edge off, but I don't want to be addicted to anything. I've tried effexor and Paxil, and they both made me feel crazy, but the valium didn't. Any advise would be appreciated.

Valium is a highly-addictive med and your use of it should be monitored by your doctor. There are a lot of pharmacists out there who will gladly refill perscriptions illegally for Valium knowing how easily people get hooked and how much money they can make by getting you addicted. (Been there.) It's tempting to continue taking Valium but it is meant for temporary use under doctor's supervision. Best of luck.
