Default use of cipro...?

Can I take cipro for the beginning of a bacterial vaginosis infection? I have metronidazole too but I can't avoid alcohol this wkend so I would prefer to take the cipro. Your input is appreciated!

most anaerobic bacteria are not susceptible to cipro, better not use it, u may use clindamycin as an alternative.
