Default ULTRACET

I have Ultracet tablets(37.5mg tramadol HCI 325mg acetaminophen tablets)<-this is whats on the sample. but I don't know anything about it. Is it like Tylenol 3 with codene? can anyone give me an example of how strong it is?

tramadol is pseudo-opiate anelgesic, often considered to be the weakes opiate availiable (it only works at some receptor sites.) I would say that tramadol is weaker than codiene or darvocet for pain relief. also, don't mix this drug w/ antidepressents, as tramadol has some SSRI action and mixing the 2 could result in seretonin syndrome, which is potentially fatal.
