Default Tylox, Vicodin, Demerol. . . .?

I am sorry this isn't a staight forward ID question, I have been to the other forums and been offered no help at all, everyone here seems very helpful, anyway...Since my shoulder surgery last week I have been given Vicodin (din't work, only made me sleepy) Demerol (worked almost too well, spent the day in a haze) and now Tylox (which also seems to not work very well). My Question is: Could I mix these to find some middle ground, ie;1 Tylox + 1 Demerol = No pain, but still able to think straight?

Sorry again for butting into all your ID questions, but I don't know who else to ask.

Probably best to talk to your doctor.
