Tylox is mexican codeine, and oxycodone is much stronger!

Tylox has Oxycodone and is in capsule form, perocet also has oxycodone but is in tablet form... There's your difference.

Tylox and Percocet both contain the active ingredients Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. Oxycodone is a narcotic analgesic and acetaminophen is the drug contained in Tylenol (this actually increases the effectiveness of the oxycodone).

Tylox is the capsule form and Percocet is the tablet form.

Tylox comes in one strength
Tylox 5/500 mg (Oxycodone 5 mg and Acetaminophen 500 mg).

Percocet comes in a number of different strengths
Percocet® 2.5/325 mg
Percocet® 5/325 mg
Percocet® 7.5/325 mg
Percocet® 10/325 mg
Percocet® 7.5/500 mg

Finaly! I have done ten searches on here trying to find posts about this question. I even posted about it myself, but no replies. And rotfl @ the Mexican Codeine thing???!!?! lol I guess the only real difference is the fact that tylox does only come in 5/500, and being a capsule is faster acting...so I have noticed today anyway.
