my friend has a bottle of cold medicine,and she says this is what it is? i looked on the internet and cant find out exactly what it is.does anyone know?

Tussionex Pennkinetic Extended-Release Suspension (made by CellTech).

Contains: 10 mg hydrocodone bitartrate (as hydrocodone polistirex), 8 mg chlorpheniramine maleate (as chlorpheniramine polistirex)
