Default Trying to Get Help With Confusion

I am really curious about the following drugs, and if any one of them could cause this to happen:

My mom blacked out in the kitchen the other day and fell. She hit her head and started convulsing. She started to turn blue. I ran to sit her up and she started to turn normal colors again. After a few minutes, she started reaching for my hands and was thrashing about saying someone was trying to kill her. Eventually she calmed down and started acting normal again, though, she had a very extreme inability to remember things that she was told and could clearly make out her name and where she was.

Now, before this happened, she has had moments late at night where she has talked to people that aren't there and just acted crazy. I'm trying to get this sorted out so that my father and I can sleep again, and not have to stay up all night watching her. I don't even honestly know which ones she is supposed to take or not, I just went by which ones were most recently filled. There are all the medications she is taking right now:

Sonata 10 MG
Naproxen 500 MG
Requip .5 MG and 1 MG
Opana ER 20 MG
Amitriptyline HCL 25 MG
Zanaflex 4 MG
Endocet 10/325 MG
Tizanidine HCL 4 MG
Spironolactone 50 MG
Cymbalta 60 MG
Topamax 100 MG
Oxycodone-APAP 10-325 MG
Potassium CL 20 MEQ
Furosemide 40 MG
Singulair

Any help with figuring this out would be appreciated. She also was taking Methadone, which I don't know a whole lot about, but haven't heard anything good about.

I've actually hidden all her pills and taken out what I know she just got filled and what I am pretty sure she should be taking. I researched a lot of the pills she had and figured that the anti-depressant is causing the issues late at night, she apparently wasn't taking it properly. I'm hoping by controlling it, we can hold off until her doctor appointment next week. She seems fine now, and does when I control them. Thank you for the reply.

Wow, That is just horrible. If my mom ever went through something like that my heart would just break and I wouldn't know how to deal with that. Thank God you got it sorted out and your mom is doing better. I am also currently having family problems at the moment, and they are just horrible to deal with, so you have my sympathies and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Your mom cannot just stop taking the Topamax, she needs to be weaned off it or she can have another seizure.

Incidentally, there are tons of side effects associated w/ this drug including cognitive and psychological. It is an anticonvulsant and I took it as an epileptic and it did help my seizures but it gave me a plethora of problems and I was instructed to NOT by any means just stop taking it as the consequences could be detrimental. IF your mom misses a dose, this is why she could've had a seizure.

I agree w/ teh fact that she's overmedicated but I would suggest getting a doctor who wouldn't mix her on all these drugs w/ the Topamax. Topamax is not a drug that should be taken lightly. It needs to be monitored.
