tramadol is a pseudo-opioid painkiller. It can be abused and is habit forming, but as far as painkillers go it is probably the weakist drug you could abuse for an opiate-like high. 100mg is not an excessive dose of tramadol (most pills come in 50mg), but if you feel that your friend's drug use is harming his life, you may want to confront him. Also, it is very unwise to mix tramadol w/ antidepressants, since Tramadol has some SSRI action, and mixing the two can result in seratonin syndrome which can be fatal.

Thanks for the extra information, Stallion. I always like to learn
more about various drugs.

Do you have any websites you could share that offer in-depth info
on opiates such as tramadol, ultram, etc.? They would be very
helpful for me and others who check them out.

Thanks!

SlimShady, I hope your friend can stop abusing Tramaodol. Life just
gets so much better when you treat your body right, including
doing at least some cardiovascular exercise, and eating right.
Sorry to go off topic, but I feel great almost all the time because
I balance my meals with 40% Carbohydrates, 30% protein,
20% non-saturated fat, and the rest is beyond me.

Please excuse my rambling. I hope it isn't a problem.

Good luck!

I was on tramadol for quite some time and had a very hard time coming off it. Please be very careful with this medication, I thought I was a person who would never become addicted to a med, but Tramadol was my downfall. I thought since it wasn't something like Hydro I didn't have to worry, well I was wrong.
