I have been on Topamax for several months now for prevention of migraines,the amount I have has declined, but not the severity of the few I do still have. But the side effects of the Topamax are a bit much.I am unable to find the right words or pronounce them at times, cannot speak full sentences at times, short term memory loss upsets me and at times feel like I should be a member of Stargate 1. My husband would love that ! My pharmacist says those side are normal and some will go away in time, but the only side effect that has us all stumped is that my jewelry is turning my fingers black. Topamax is the only new meds I am on, so it has to it. I have worn the same wedding rings for 20 years, Has anyone else had that problem ? Thanks for any help you can give me.
