Default Are there side effects when you stop Lexapro?

After using Lexapro for 1 year can you stop Lexapro? Is there any side effects and how long do they last?

dear member,
Lexapro (Escitalopram)belongs to a group of drugs called SSRI's.
they are used primarily for depression.
you have not told why do you want to discontinue the drug.
doing so without informing your doctor is not safe.
abrupt discontinuation may cause dizziness nausea vomiting fatigue unpleasant visual sensations anxiety agitation crying spells irritability poor concentration lowered mood confusion memory problems.
hope this helps you.
regards
wanderer.
