Tegretol Is Wiping Me Out

Just started taking Tegretol for bipolar disorder, and in the first few days I've been so exhausted and foggy I can't accomplish much. Is this something that I can expect to subside, or is this what life is like on this medication?

I'm new here, so if I've violated convention, just let me know!
