Does anyone know if there is a waiting period, from when you stop taking Prozac and start taking Zoloft. In other words, once you've completely stopped taking Prozac, it's still in your system for a while. Does one have to wait until it's completely "out" before starting a drug like Zoloft?
No, they are both SSRI's, the only time you have to wait is if you have been taking an MAOI, then it is 14 days. But since Prozac and Zoloft are of the same drug class, no waiting period is necessary.
